A little bit about me

Professionally...

Highly dedicated, flexible and data-driven Designer. I really like to discover things before crafting, so I can deliver better products.

My journey starts in 2006, at a time when we were called “Web Designers”. I was part of the Design Team at O Globo, one of the biggest online newspapers in Brazil, creating interactive infographics and UIs, accessed by thousands of people.

After this, I worked in a consulting company, building and improving systems B2B and B2C. I also had the opportunity to work in the Public Sector with Online Education. It's a different market, full of challenges, where UX maturity is still growing. In this context, I had to be flexible and find the balance for the best deliveries.

Supporting a better UX community:

I believe one of the best ways to grow as a designer in the UX field is to have a strong community, keep in touch with people, and share knowledge. I help to construct a better UX community by giving lectures and talks, and organizing events and workshops.

Personally...

In my free time, I like to do exercises (pilates and running!), stay in contact with nature, be in touch with my family, read books, and listen to music (I looove going to rock concerts!). I also enjoy so much learning new languages! Besides Portuguese, I also speak English, French and some Hebrew (I've spent 2 years in Israel, where I learned the basics of this language). :)
